Arizona’s rapidly growing semiconductor sector continues to shape our economic landscape, especially in Phoenix, where more than 140,000 jobs are already tied to this industry. With a second major fab completed and volume production set for 2027, investors are taking a close look at the current price plateau as a potential entry point—particularly near North Phoenix and Chandler, where demand is expected to remain strong.
Of course, no discussion about Arizona’s growth is complete without considering our water supply. The state’s allocation from the Colorado River covers roughly one-third of our water use, and the outlook beyond 2026 suggests further reductions are likely. Local water managers remain confident that cities can absorb added cuts without service interruptions, but we’re likely to see more emphasis on conservation, efficiency, and perhaps even drought surcharges moving forward.
On the residential side, Phoenix housing has cooled from the frenzy of recent years. Most analysts see this as a healthy normalization, with home values expected to grow modestly in the near term. As someone who has managed large real estate portfolios across Arizona, I’ve learned that understanding both local market trends and broader resource challenges is key to making sound investment decisions that create long-term value.
